Roasting is a great way to naturally enhance the flavor and aroma of cashews. A quick roasting will bring out cashew sweet flavor with extra crunch in the process.
⅓tsp optional spiceschicken powder, and chili powder can be added.
Instructions
Mix 1 teaspoon of sugar with 2 teaspoons of water, and stir to get all sugar dissolved.
Combine 2 teaspoons of flour with sugar solution, and mix into batter.
Thoroughly coat 300 g cashew nut with batter.
Sprinkle with ⅓ teaspoon of salt, and mix thoroughly. Other spices, chicken powder, and chili flakes can be added if desired.
Spread the nuts evenly on the air fryer baking tray.
Toast at 150°C for 14 minutes.
Stir the nuts around with a spatula, you may need to break apart a few that have stuck together. Store the roasted cashew nuts in an airtight container.
