Fried crab sticks or surimi is a simple snack that can be eaten any time of the day. Crab sticks or Surimi is an imitation crab meat usually made from fish paste.
Sieve in corn starch and coat crab stick strips evenly. Allow them to slightly dry in the refrigerator for 2 hours to minimize oil splatters.
Heat oil to 160℃-170℃, distributed strips evenly on hot oil, fry in small batches. To prevent sticking do not stir immediately, do so gently after 10-20 seconds.
Deep fry over medium heat until golden brown.
Drain excess oil on paper towel, allow them to fully cool before storing in airtight container.
Simple and easy finger food.
