350 g yellow sweet potato cut into chunks 350 g orange sweet potato cut into chunks 35 g old ginger smashed 2 liter water 60 g small sago 130 g sugar 3 leaves pandan leaves
Cook small sago until semi-translucent (Refer: How to Cook Small Sago Pearls-Translucent & Chewy )
Bring 2 liter of water to the boil, add in ginger and sweet potatoes.
Bring to the boil again, turn to medium-low heat, cook, uncovered, for 6-7 minutes until potatoes are tender.
Add in the partially cooked small sago, sugar and pandan leaves, mix well.
Bring to the boil again.
Off the heat, cover, let the small sago soaks for 8-10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, the sago is fully translucent. Enjoy!
