Durian Ice-Cream without Ice-Cream Machine

Durian flesh is sweet, rich and aromatic, it is a great ingredient for making durian ice-cream. To make smooth and creamy ice-cream without ice-cream machine, you will need to add whipped cream.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 300 g durian flesh
  • 100 ml milk
  • 200 g non-dairy whipping cream sweetened

Instructions
 

  • Blend together milk and durian flesh until you have smooth durian paste. (Reminder: You may sieve the durian paste if you want a smoother ice-cream.)
  • Whip non-dairy whipping cream until stiff. (Reminder: Use stainless mixing bowl for whipping. Keep both mixing bowl and whisk in freezer for 30 minutes to chill them up before using.)
  • Add durian paste to non-dairy whipped cream, mix until well combined.
  • Transfer to a container, cover and freeze for 6-7 hours until firm.
