Yield: 10 servings
Ingredients:
- 350 g yellow sweet potato (cut into chunks)
- 350 g orange sweet potato (cut into chunks)
- 35 g old ginger (smashed)
- 2 liter water
- 60 g small sago
- 130 g sugar
- 3 leaves pandan leaves

Instructions:
1 Cook small sago until semi-translucent (Refer: How to Cook Small Sago Pearls-Translucent & Chewy )

2 Bring 2 liter of water to the boil, add in ginger and sweet potatoes.

3 Bring to the boil again, turn to medium-low heat, cook, uncovered, for 6-7 minutes until potatoes are tender.

4 Add in the partially cooked small sago, sugar and pandan leaves, mix well.

5 Bring to the boil again.

6 Off the heat, cover, let the small sago soaks for 8-10 minutes.

7 After 10 minutes, the sago is fully translucent. Enjoy!
