What is the benefit of eating pineapple?

Pineapples are an excellent source of vitamin C, manganese and potassium. A cup of fresh pineapple contains over two-thirds of your daily recommended value of vitamin C, which helps boost immunity. Manganese helps form connective tissue in the body while also supporting healthy blood sugar levels and bone health. Potassium helps maintain fluid balance in the body, which can help lower blood pressure and decrease the risk of stroke.
