Ingredients:
- 8 pcs chicken wings (cleaned)
- ½ tsp ground pepper
- 1 ½ tsps five spice powder
- ¾ tsp fine salt
- 2 tbsps fine sugar
Ingredients for coating:
- 30 g honey
- 20 g butter
Instructions:
1 Dry cleaned chicken wings with kitchen towels.

2 Pierce chicken wings with holes using a fork.

3 Add ground pepper, five spice powder, salt and sugar to chicken wings, coat each well with marinade. Keep refrigerated to marinate for at least 5 hours or overnight. (Reminder: Marinate the wings longer for better taste.)

4 Set aside the marinated chicken wings at room temperature for 30 minutes before baking.

5 Combine honey and butter, mix well.

6 Line air fryer basket with non-stick baking paper.

7 Arrange chicken wings in air fryer basket, put into air fryer, bake at 180°C for 8 minutes.


8 Coat chicken wings with honey-butter, then turn the wings over, coat the other side. Bake again at 180°C for 8 minutes.

9 Turn the wings again, bake at 180°C for another 2 minutes.
