Agar-agar jelly is kids’ favourite dessert, it is also a must-have dessert for any occasion or birthday party. This is a very simple agar-agar recipe, yet a delicious one. Just combine and cook all ingredients in a cooking pot and pour into a mould, the jelly will automatically divide into 2 layers when cooled.

It is suggested that you use FRESH coconut milk for this recipe as canned or boxed coconut milk may not yield the same result as they are usually loaded with binder. The binder will prevent the separation of water and oil, thus you won’t have 2 layers when the agar-agar has set.
